Photo Restoration

Careful, detailed restoration for the photos that matter most. Whether your image is faded, torn, water-damaged, or simply worn by time, I work gently and respectfully to bring it back to life while preserving its original character. These photos often hold memories, stories, and people we never want to lose, and I treat each one with that in mind.

How the Process Works

When your photo arrives, I scan it at a high resolution and return the original to you right away. Your original print is never altered—every part of the restoration is done digitally to protect the integrity of the photo.

Once the scan is complete, I carefully evaluate the digital image to determine what can be restored. If the photo is restorable, I’ll provide a clear quote based on the level of damage and the work required. If you decide not to move forward with the restoration, there is no charge at all — and if the image cannot be restored, there is no charge either.

Most restorations are completed within a few days, and you’ll receive a high‑quality digital file along with optional print choices if you’d like a physical copy. Photos can be dropped off locally or mailed securely—whichever is easiest for you—and originals are always returned in protective packaging. I can also meet you at a convenient location to pick up and return your photos if you’re within a reasonable distance.

What I Can Restore

Most older photos can be restored more than people expect.

Once your photo is safely scanned and evaluated, these are the types of damage I can restore:

  • Color correction and tone balancing
  • Tears, creases, and cracks
  • Water or moisture damage
  • Scratches and surface marks
  • Missing pieces or damaged edges
  • Old prints of any size and format

  • A high‑quality digital file of the restored image
